It gives me the printer is offline error, when it is online. Excellent explanation couldnt have explained it better, but other possibility is the pins where the chip rests are dirty, you should be able to clean them with a Q-tip and isopropyl it doesn't recognize any color cartridge at the moment. I manually stopped the job because the copied item was crooked.
Last time I returned a faulty tank they refused to exchange or credit it until I took my printer in to be checked.
